Our Newest Addition

Even though this is late I wanted to properly welcome Gwen into our family. She arrived 2 weeks early on June 16, 2010. Life is really crazy with 3 kids, but we think she's worth it:)




Janie and Caleb just love her. In fact, they've composed several songs about how much they love her and one day they spent all morning taking home videos of her while singing them. Here is one that Caleb came up with. Please excuse the "potty" references.

Halloween 2010

The kids were so excited for Halloween and trick or treating so I decided to use that to my advantage and require them to endure a dreaded photo shoot in order to go trick or treating. So here we are at the pumpkin patch....

This year Caleb was Mario (of course), Janie was a witch, and Gwen was sort of a cat or at least had on a onesie with a cat on it, does that count? I was really glad when Janie settled on being a witch for Halloween. For about a month she was set on being carpet. No, not a flying carpet like on Aladdin, just plain old carpet. She said it would be funny because people would see her and say "why is there carpet walking around?" and then they would laugh. I still don't know how she came up with that or how I would have made that costume:)
